ASMP Central Florida’s mission is to create and foster a photographic community, educate and inspire its members, and advocate sound business practices.

The American Society of Media Photographers is a national organization
of more than 6,000 leading professional photographers. Founded by
photojournalists in 1944. ASMP now comprises photographers working
in editorial, portraiture, fashion, corporate, advertising, architecture, still
life, and nearly every other area of photography.

ASMP was established to advance the interests of photographers and
to cultivate friendship and mutual understanding among colleagues. ASMP
promotes high professional standards and ethics and remains the foremost
source for current information on business practices, rights, and ethics for all visual artists. We are photographers helping photographers.

On behalf of the Central Florida Board, we welcome you, and we look
forward to seeing you at our next event!
